More than 1,000 people attended the events of the fifth BCI Samara Conference on October 3-5, 2019.
Unfortunately, due to the limited capacity of the hall, we had to close registration for scientific events ahead of schedule. For those who did not have time to register, an online broadcast of the conference was organized on our YouTube channel, which was watched by more than 2,000 viewers. Recordings of the conference's reports and symposiums in Russian and English are publicly available on the same channel. The conference program focused on a special topic — "Artificial intelligence in healthcare, neurophysiology, and brain-computer interfaces." Presentations at the plenary session were made by such leading world experts in the field of scientific research and AI as:

The second and third days included a panel discussion, symposiums, workshops, lectures and presentations. The program allocated time for three poster sessions and satellite events.: premiere screening the movie "The Brain.Evolution" with the participation of the conference speakers, popular science lectures and competitions "Neurotlon 2019"
For the first time, a specialized satellite conference "Virtual Reality Technologies in medical and social rehabilitation" was held in parallel with the main event with the support of the Presidential Grants Foundation. A partnership symposium of the NTI HelsNet Infrastructure Center "Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare and the Helsnet Roadmap" was also organized.: What's next?" This cooperation will be expanded in 2020 in the form of the organization of the first Samara Week of Neuroscience and Neurotechnology (Samara Neuroweek 2020).
The conference was included in the plan of the most significant events of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, its materials are published in eLibrary.RU and are included in the Russian Science Citation Index (RISC).
