Neurocomputer interface: Science and Practice. Samara 2018
Conference program designed in accordance with modern international standards, it included 2 days of scientific reports and breakout sessions, an expanded poster section, a demonstration of rehabilitation equipment, and an extensive cultural and sightseeing program.

The main topics in 2018 were artificial vision and modern methods of motor rehabilitation. The reports also covered a wide range of issues of human-machine interaction, the use of virtual reality and robotics in medicine, clinical trends in physiotherapy, and others.

The key speakers of the conference were Xing Chen (Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience, Amsterdam), Doron Friedman (Interdisciplinary Center Herzlia, Israel), Alexander Frolov (Institute of Higher Nervous Activity of the Russian Academy of Sciences), Alexander Kaplan (Moscow State University), Mikhail Lebedev (Duke University, USA), Alexey Osadchy (HSE), Eugene Tunik (Northeastern University, Boston), Junichi Ushiba (Keio University, Yokohama).

The 2018 conference was included in the list of events The Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and was supported by:

- Samara Region Digital Development Project Office
The satellite events were held on October 13 by the NeuroNet Industry Union and the Think Samara group and included the Neurotlon 2018 competitions and popular lectures by leading world scientists.
